Last Day of School

The picture on the left is Tate on his first day of Kindergarten.  The one on the right is his very last day of Kindergarten.  Tate has grown and learned so much this year with Mrs Hoefling.  It's hard to believe how fast this school year has gone.  Tate is looking forward to Summer and being able to be outside!

Tate is excited for next year and being a first grader in Mrs Nixon's (Neighbors) class.

The picture on the left is Devin's first day in the 3rd grade.  The one on the right is his last day as a 3rd grader in Mrs Emmert's class.  Devin has commented several times on how quickly the school year went.  I think we are all surprised its already over.  Devin absolutely can not wait until next year.  He is looking forward to having Sister Irma as his teacher.  She is such a special lady and really makes an impression on all of her students.

Devin was so surprised to see Mamaw at church. We had to get a quick picture before he headed back to class. 

Mom and her Kindergarten graduate. This school year has gone by in a flash. We are so proud of Tate and all that he has learned this year. He is already excited to start 1st grade. 

Where has the time gone?  Hard to believe Tate will be a 1st grader.  Looking  forward to watching you grow in knowledge and your faith. 

St James Family Night

St James Family Night displays projects from all grade levels that they have recently been working on. Devin did a poster project with 2 other classmates on the Wright Brothers.

St James Christmas Program

This year's Christmas Program at St James - Sing With Us, The Christmas Story.  The entire school participated in the program.  Devin was selected to be one of the narrators.

Last Day as a Kindergartener!

It is so hard to believe that Kindergarten has already come and go.  Devin has changed so much through out this year.  Not all of those changes are physical even though he has grown taller and lost several teeth.  He has learned so much this year. 

He has learned dozens of site words, learned how to read and write, learned math & religion.  He also learned so much about himself and self control.  He learned to stand up for himself and to control his urges.  We are so proud of all he has accomplished.

 

 

Devin has gained so much from St James this year!  He has definitely found friends in Robert & Carson.  We hear so much about them!  They seem to be the three amigos! 

 

I think the entire class was ready for summer, but I know this group will be glad to be back together come August!  Such a great group of kids.  We look forward to watching them all grow together!
