Last Day of School

The picture on the left is Tate on his first day of Kindergarten.  The one on the right is his very last day of Kindergarten.  Tate has grown and learned so much this year with Mrs Hoefling.  It's hard to believe how fast this school year has gone.  Tate is looking forward to Summer and being able to be outside!

Tate is excited for next year and being a first grader in Mrs Nixon's (Neighbors) class.

The picture on the left is Devin's first day in the 3rd grade.  The one on the right is his last day as a 3rd grader in Mrs Emmert's class.  Devin has commented several times on how quickly the school year went.  I think we are all surprised its already over.  Devin absolutely can not wait until next year.  He is looking forward to having Sister Irma as his teacher.  She is such a special lady and really makes an impression on all of her students.  

Tate couldn't wait for field day. Fun day filled with games and pizza!

Academic Excellence Awards

We spent our evening celebrating all the elementary students in South Gibson School corporation who achieved Academic honors. Students qualify if they have a 94% or higher grade point average through the first 3 grading periods.

Devin earned Academic honors again this year. It hasn't always been easy, but his hard work haa paid off. Greg and I are very proud of his accomplishments. Here he is recieving his medal from Mrs Johnson, St James's principal.

Fr Betz was also there congratulating students. Both Devin and Tate think the world of Father. He has been such a special influence to both of them.

Thanks to Mamaw Sandy for helping us get a family photo. Very pleased with how it turned out. Love my little family, even though they seem to be growing up right before my eyes. Hard to believe in a few weeks we will have a 1st and 4th grader. Trying to enjoy every moment. 

Proud Grandparents!  We are so glad Mamaw and Papaw came to support Devin and all of his efforts this school year. 

St James Family Night

St James Family Night displays projects from all grade levels that they have recently been working on. Devin did a poster project with 2 other classmates on the Wright Brothers.

St James Christmas Program

This year's Christmas Program at St James - Sing With Us, The Christmas Story.  The entire school participated in the program.  Devin was selected to be one of the narrators.
