Kindergarten Mass and Celebration

Mamaw came to celebrate with Tate. 

Devin was so surprised to see Mamaw at church. We had to get a quick picture before he headed back to class. 

Mom and her Kindergarten graduate. This school year has gone by in a flash. We are so proud of Tate and all that he has learned this year. He is already excited to start 1st grade. 

Where has the time gone?  Hard to believe Tate will be a 1st grader.  Looking  forward to watching you grow in knowledge and your faith. 

Holy Saturday Service - Rite of Initiation

The beginning of Holy Saturday Service begins with the lighting of the Paschal Candle.  Makes the Mom in me slightly nervous to hand to young boy's candles, but Devin and Tate, both did very well.

Greg and Sister Erma.  Sister Erma conducted all of the classes each Sunday evening.  Greg has been going to "Communion Class" since October.  It was a very personal decision he made for Devin & Tate.  Devin and Tate have been so supportive of Greg during this entire process.  They couldn't wait until Dad could go to Communion with us.  Such a special day for our family. 

We are all so proud!

Tate's Baptism

Beginning Tate's Baptism with Fr. Betz. He wastes no time and makes quick work of the baptism ceremony.

Greg holding Tate during the Baptism. Father joked that the water probably felt good to Tate. Tate just barely fit into the Baptismal outfit that Devin also wore. It was big on Devin, and barely fit Tate. Tate didn't even make a peep at the baptism. It didn't bother him one bit.

Devin never even flinched. He was the perfect angel!!

Fr. Betz performed the Baptism in a record 5 minutes flat. He wastes no time! Aunt Brooke and Uncle Eric were my God Parents.

We had such a wonderful group to share Devin"s Baptism. Thanks to all of you who made it. Greg & I really appreciate all of your support.
