After the swamp, we finally made our way into the city. We got checked into our hotels and then decided to grab a bite to eat. Greg picked a great restaurant - Mulate's.

Luckily Devin is getting pretty good with my camera. Which means I am actually in a few pictures every now and then.

After dinner, we headed out on a walk to explore the river front and downtown. Our first stop, was to eat some Beignet's. This was on Devin & Tate's must do list. Even better it was Tate's birthday.

Up next, we headed towards the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Nothing says New Orleans like Bourbon Street. Greg thought it was a great way for Tate to spend his birthday. It was still pretty early so Bourbon Street was still pretty mild.

We ended up at Jackson Square and St Louis Cathedral. This is probably my favorite picture of our entire trip! Just loved the way it turned out.
