65 Years and Counting

Grandma & Grandpa Bane were celebrating their 65th Wedding Anniversary.  That is much to big of a milestone to not celebrate.  We opted to have a party for them at our home with all the immediate family.  We were lucky enough to get the entire family all together to celebrate.

Tate found some good food too!

These two are best buddies.  They definitely have a special place in their heart for each other.

Getting ready to roast some S'mores as the end of the evening.

Finger licking good!

Lexi working on making her S'more.

Quinn was having fun roasting his marsh mellow.

Mamaw was trying not to burn her marsh mellow for the S'more.  Quinn had already moved on to his second!

Tate's Preschool Celebration

The theme of the Preschool Celebration was "There's nothing I can't Do".
These photos were from career day.  Each student dressed up as what they wanted to be when they grow up.

Tate picked pharmacist.  He sounded out his profession and wrote it this sheet.
"When I Grow Up I Want to be a ... Farmustist.
Tate 2016

He was very proud to dress like a pharmacist just like Mom.  He wore a lab coat, dressed up and even wore a tie.  I made him a name badge with his name - Dr Tate L Bane.

Lined up and ready to go!

Each Pre-K Student walked in by themselves and took their seats.

Receiving his certificate from his teacher, Mrs Chelsie.

We now have a very excited future Kindergartener on our hands.  Tate will be part of the Class of 2029.  I don't know how I feel about that.  On one hand it seems so far away, but on the other, I know it will be gone in what seems like a blink of an eye.

Grandma Wolsing wouldn't dream of missing Tate's Preschool Celebration.

Mamaw and Papaw were also in attendance to watch Tate graduate from Preschool.

We have one proud future Kindergartener.  If he could skip Summer break and just start straight into Kindergarten we would do it in a heart beat.  It was a bitter sweet day for us as parents.  Hard to believe that both of our kids are in school.  Where does the time go?  Proud of Tate and all he has learned at school this year.  He as actually just started reading, with Mrs Chelsie's help.  He is so excited that he can now start reading all his sight words.

Uncle Brad came out to support Tate.  They are always giving each other such a hard time!!  Today was no difference.

We had to get pictures with all of his Preschool Teachers.  This is Ms. Deb.  She run's the morning daycare for the preschool students and then helps teach pre-school along with Mrs Chelsie and Mrs Joan.

Tate and Mrs Chelsie.  She is an amazing Preschool teacher.

Mrs Chelsie gave each student an award based on their personality.  She matched their personality to different types of candy.  Tate won the LifeSaver Award, because he was always willing to Help!  That makes this Mom, super proud.

Tate had to get a picture with his best buddy, Leyton.  They have become best of friends over the last couple of years.  Leyton makes Tate look gigantic in this picture!

We figured Thanksgiving would be a great time to snap a few family pictures.  They came together quite nicely.  Glad we were able to get a picture of everyone!

Brad & Holly's Wedding

Well we were all dressed up with no where to go, so what does that mean - photo shoot of course!  This picture cracks me up, because you can see some breakfast left on Tate's cheek, that's so Tate it isn't even funny.

Devin's close up.

Oh brothers!  Love their natural smiles in this picture.  That gets harder and harder to capture as they get older.  Now we get the typical "cheese" face.  Love when you just catch them in the moment.

My 3 fine handsome men!

Mommy & Devin.

Mommy & Tate - He's such a silly one!

Papaw Barry tickling his boys.  He is always teasing these boys, giving them such a hard time.  Think he is trying to raise some mini me's.  They definitely like to tease just like their Papaw.

Mamaw and Devin.  Love the way these turned out.  Sometimes it is really hard to get them to sit still long, but we got some good ones.  Mamaw will be happy!

Mamaw and her Tatey.

Remember I said it can be hard to get them to sit still - this is a great example. Still turned out pretty well.  It amazes me how much energy they have.
