Millennium Park & Willis Tower

We started our morning by walking to Millennium Park to see all the sites.  The park is really interesting and thought the kids would enjoy getting out of the stroller for a while to explore.

Love this picture of Devin, checking himself out in the famous "Bean".  It's actually name is Cloud Gate, but because of it's distinct shape most people call it the bean.

Devin and Tate playing under the Bean.

I love the layer's in this photo.
We were trying to get a family shot, but Tate wasn't quite cooperating. Hoping to get a great picture of our reflection, but instead I got a close up of Tate, with the rest of us in the background.

Cool picture of the city skyline, but us at the very bottom in the center.

The "Bean"

After leaving the Bean we headed back down Michigan Avenue toward the Chicago River.  We board our River Taxi - Destination Willis Tower.

We were the only people on the water taxi. The boat captain let the boys sit on the life jacket box so that they could see better for our trip down the river.

A brief boat ride later, we arrived at the Willis Tower - more famously known as the Sears Tower.

A brief wait for one of the two elevators to the top and 103 floors later, this is the view.  We picked a great day.  It was fairly clear so you really could see a lot.  The previous 2 days the top of the tower never came out of the clouds.

Tate enjoying all the views.

Devin sitting in the glass room.  This room is completely made out of glass and sticks out of the building.  Once you step out into the glass room, you can see 103 floors straight down!  It is really kind of mind blowing.

This is Tate checking out all of the views.

See....straight down to the street.
Needless to say this wasn't Greg's favorite part of the trip.

Well when you are in Chicago its practically a must to eat some deep dish pizza.  Figured we would try one of the most famous pizza place in Chicago - Gino's East.

They let you write on almost everything, except the wait staff.
Devin loved the pizza!

This is Tate's - I love Pizza Face.  Great Smile!
