1st and Best Concert EVER - Garth Brooks!

Thanks to Uncle Matt for providing the cowboy hat for the evening. I am still trying to figure out where my kids get all of their personality!  Tate makes a pretty handsome cowboy!

Devin is lacking for personality either.  He was giving us his best cowboy pose.

Walking around in downtown Louisville, we ran across this horse.  It was a must to get a few pictures (even though the sign said No Touching), these cowboys make their own rules.  I'm not sure if it is the hat or the horse that makes the cowboy.

Look at those cowboy faces.  They both have the "stare" down.

We found the Troll Under the Bridge.

Tate managed to charm Uncle Matt into a ride on his shoulders.  Tate is pretty successful at using his big blue eyes to get what he wants.  We were on our way to dinner before the concert.  Greg had made a reservation at BLU, which was an amazing Italian restaurant.

We grabbed some drinks before dinner.  Tate was enjoying his water with lemon.  He thought the glass was awesome, because the "handle was at the bottom".  One person's handle is an other's stem.

Waiting on our food. We shared some appetizers - Hot Brown Ravioli and some Meat Balls.  Greg and I shared their highly recommended Pork Chop and Seafood Risotto.  They were both amazing and glad we tried both.

Pre-Concert Selfies.

Say Cheese!

Finally got one of the whole family.

Tate and Garth Brooks. Garth is in the Blue Shirt.  We had amazing seats.

Garth Brooks!

Cowboy Devin was really getting into his very first concert.  Cowboy hats and air guitars!

Devin using my phone as a lighter, a must during a slow song.  Thanks for the picture, Uncle Matt.

Tate was having a blast.  He did decide to wear his ear plugs.  His ears are so sensitive because of his ear tubes.

Love this picture - pure fun!  I think we were successful in making some lasting memories.  Couldn't have picked a better concert to be their first!

Christmas Overload Weekend

Greg taking the lead around Brown County.  He decided that we needed to change things up a little bit.  He's trying to break a 30 year tradition.  That can be very hard.  Needless to say he was only half effective.

Greg found his perfect pillow!  Not sure if that pertains to me or himself.

The Bane family ugly christmas sweater contest.  We all wore handmade Grinch shirts.  They told the story of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Even the backs were covered.  Now we tell the story of the Grinch from Tate to Greg!

Look how cute we are!!

So this is what the dirty santa turned into.  Its not every day that you can sit on your Uncles lap, dressed as Santa and ask for everything you want for Christmas.  I think I impressed the entire family with how high I was able to get my leg.

The following morning the boys took some time to meet with Santa.  Devin told him everything he wanted.  The biggest item on his list is Anki Overdrive.  Santa knew exactly what he was talking about.

Tate wanted to visit with Santa, but didn't want to sit on his lap.  He asked for a few more items.  Last time he met with Santa he was a little rushed and didn't have a chance to tell Santa everything he wanted.  This time he was able to complete his list.

After leaving Brown County, we decided that we would participate in the town wide Christmas Parade.  It is a light Christmas Parade for all the golf carts and side-by-sides in town.  Greg & I started pulling out some left over Christmas decorations.  Thanks to some of the POS Greg has from work we threw together a pretty nice cart.  Our theme was "A Christmas Story".  We had Ralphie in his bunny suit on the front.  The leg lamp towards the back and a ton of lights strung all around running off our generator.

I even pulled out an old Christmas present from Greg.  The oh so famous Hoodie Footie in the Pepto- Bismol Pink Color.  I even dug up some black glasses and a bb gun to complete the ensemble.  We also were playing movie clips from the movie on the ipad and playing the sound over the blue tooth speaker.  We had such a blast.  Uncle Matt also came along for the ride!

We weaved our way through town, towards the old gym.  Once we all arrived there, Fr Tony blessed our Christmas tree and then Santa did a count down to lighting it up.   It was such a fun evening!

Kenny Chesney Concert

Getting our picture in front of the American Kids bus. I was a lucky girl and got to hang with this group of guys for the evening.

Concert selfie

Pretty amazing to see the stadium lit up with every one's cell phones.

We had a blast at the concert. Jake Owen put on a great show. Then I was able to head to the floor. Thanks to the Blue Chair Bay people we had great seats.

Can't beat being only feet from the stage. Kenny Chesney puts on a great show.

Thanks to these guys for a fantastic evening!!!

Rooting for the Tigers!🐾

We traveled to Indianapolis for the girls basketball state championship. The boys couldn't wait for the basketball game to start.
We came prepared with our vintage Princeton Tiger shirts. These shirts Greg and Uncle Brad wore as kids. Devin and Tate couldn't believe that Dad had worn the same shirt!

Comfy, Tate??  He tends to make himself comfortable no matter where we go. Crazy kid.

Tate seemed to like this view better. Thanks Uncle Matt for the lift!

Mamaw had brought a Princeton rally towel. The boys had fun shaking it in the air, but Devin had a better use for it. He thought he looked pretty tough.

HOORAY!!! Princeton wins the state championship!!  Princeton beat Tippecanoe Valley 72 to 44. Princeton's best player, Jackie Young, scored 1000 points for the season. She is the first girl I the state to accomplish that. Way to go Tigers!
