The Princeton Deanery puts on a retreat for all students who will be participate in First Holy Communion. 2nd graders from St Joe Princeton, Holy Cross, Sts Peter and Paul , and St James all joined in a group retreat. This year's retreat was held at Sts Peter and Paul in Haubstadt.
This was one of several breakout sessions. It was the game station. They worked in groups to solve a crossed shaped puzzle. Devin and Sam worked together to quickly solve their puzzle.

The next station was making Easter bread. Bailey and Devin both decided to color their hard boiled eggs red.
After dying their egg, They placed it into a mini loaf of bread.

This is a picture of myself and my 2nd Grade teacher and Devin and his 2nd Grand teacher.
Mrs. Walden was my second grade teacher in 1988. She also was our First Communion Sponsor. A day that I can still remember today. This is Mrs Walden's last year teaching. She will be retiring at the end of this school year. Devin's 2nd grade teacher is Ms Luth. She actually did her student teaching with Mrs Walden when she was completing her schooling. Such a small world.
