It was the first time that the kindergarten class participated in all of the mass parts. Everyone in Devin's class played an important role. Devin shared part of the 1st reading with 2 of his other classmates - Grant and Robert.
You can barely see his eyes peaking above the pulpit.
We had been practicing his reading for several days. I was so proud at how well he read his section. He didn't even seem to get nervous.
After church, we headed to the gym for the Kindergarten celebration. They performed several of the songs they learned throughout the school year to help them learn.
They sang a song about the months of the year. It helped them to learn the order of the months, and which months were hot, cold, and rainy.
They also sang a song about the days of the week. It helped them learn how to spell each day.
Then it was a math song, helping them count to 100.
Next it was their science song. It was very similar to the book, "We're going on a Bear Hunt". It was a really cute song, with motions
This is Devin receiving his certificate from his teacher Mrs. Holden. She has been a great teacher and has helped all of the kids excel during the school year.
Giving Ms. Jill a hug, too. She is Mrs. Holden's teacher helper.

Devin standing in front of the decorations the kids worked so hard to make. Hall of their hand prints and sunshine's with each of their pictures.
They all got to wear goofy classes for their sunshine pictures. This is Devin's sunshine. Those are some mighty big sunglasses.
Grandma & Grandpa Wolsing came over for the Kindergarten Mass and Celebration. Devin was very happy to have them here. We couldn't hardly contain all of his excitement!
Mamaw & Papaw also came to support Devin. It was a big day for him.

This is a self portrait that Devin drew of himself. He even drew Iron Man on his shirt.
