Non-Stop Holiday Weekend!

As the Holiday quickly approaches our social calender quickly fills up. The first weekend of December is always the Danhauer Family Reunion in Brown County - Nashville, IN. We spent the weekend at the Brown County Inn visiting with family and enjoying the beginning of our holiday season. It has been a family tradition for 30 plus years! Everyone has their own reasons to look forward to the weekend, but for our kids it has to be in the indoor heated pool. It is quite a treat to be able to swim in the dead of winter.

Sunday evening after our Brown County weekend, we headed to French Lick Indiana to ride the Polar Express. We met the whole Bane Family to enjoy a trip to the North Pole. It was so much fun for everyone! We boarded our train for the North Pole we enjoyed Hot Cocoa, Cookies, music, and a reading of The Polar Express. After making it to the North Pole we picked up Santa Claus and made our way back to French Lick. Santa visited with every child on the train and gave them a special little gift.

We had such a fun filled weekend. It was a great way to start the holiday season and make lasting memories with our families. This week we look forward to Saint Nicholas coming, cookie making with Grandma Wolsing and see where our Elf on the Shelf will hide next!
