Holiday World - Family Fun Day!

So what is the best way to spend a hot Sunday, why with a trip to Holiday World. We left the house bright and early this morning to be there when it opened.

Tate being a spooky ghost. We rode a couple of rides in the Halloween section before heading to the water park.

We spent most of our day there. We started out to first ride the Mammoth water coaster. Just before we got on the ride broke down. We got lucky though and got a front of the line pass for when it started working again. We went and ride several other slides and then came back to ride the Mammoth and Wildebeast. After some lunch and more slides, we decided to dry off and ride some regular rides.

Tate and I rode the Turkey Calling ride and the spinning turkeys while Dad and Devin conquered the Voyage.

Devin conquered the Voyage and loved it. Greg said the hill made him a little nervous, but after the first drop he loved it.

My silly pilgrims!

Waiting to ride.
Tate sat out the Revolution, but Mom and Devin had a blast. Greg got this picture. You can see Devin's bright orange shirt!!

Then the boys took flight!

Devin and Tate both ride the Doggie Roller Coaster. Devin quickly decided it wasn't as near as much fun as it used to be. Tate rode several times. It was one of his favorite rides.

Mom and Devin on Liberty Launch- another first for Devin.

We split up for a little bit. Dad and Tate rode a few smaller rides, while Mom and Devin rode The Legend and The Raven Rollercoasters.

Tate riding the mini version of Libery Launch.

Last ride of the day-  The Raven. Greg just happened to catch us as we were pulling back into the station. We picked the back seat.

I'm pretty sure this picture is mandatory. Quick picture with Santa before we headed out. I'm guessing we are going to have some worn out kiddos tonight.
