Playing at Smothers Park

We spent our Saturday afternoon in Owensboro.  We first stopped to visit Great Grandma & Grandpa Danhauer. Then we took the kids downtown along the river to Smother's Park.  It is an amazing park and playground.

The play structure is huge!  They have a ton of different climbing areas, slides, bridges, and walkways.  There is so much to see and do , the boys had a hard time figuring out what to do first.

Take taking a different route every time to get up to the walkways. He is quite the strong climber.

Devin shouting to Dad via the "telephone".  He had all kinds of secrets to share.

Practicing on the swinging steps.

"Oh No Mom, I've been swallowed by a bass!"

Cruising Around Town

We were very optimistic about warmer weather this spring.  It barely hit 50 degrees outside and were itching to get out of the house.  What else were we to do, but go for a golf cart ride around town.  We dropped of some library books at the library, visited all 3 playgrounds in town, and even stopped by the grocery store.

Tate went for a ride on the bouncing duck.
Devin climbed up the ladder and took several trips down each slide.

Devin and Tate trying out the teeter totter.

Tate snapped this picture of Mom riding that silly bouncing duck.  Silly Mom!
