Boy Scout Crossover Night

It was a big night for Devin and his Wolf pack.  They have successful completed all the requirements of the Wolf pack and can move up.

Robert, Carson, and Devin receiving their patches and belt rings for completing the required elements.

Devin and Mom going through the ceremony for crossover.

Each parent painted their son's face.  It all has to do with various aspects of the Wolf Den.

We removed his Wolf kerchief and place on his new Bear den colors.

Carson, Devin, Heath, and Robert.  They are all the best of friends and classmates at St James.

Tate had been so patient through the entire meeting.  He thinks he is going to be a Wolf next year.

Popcorn Here, Get your Popcorn Here!

Get ready, get set, sell some popcorn!

Devin joined Boy Scouts this Fall and their biggest fundraiser is their popcorn sales.  We signed up for several times to sell popcorn out in the community.  Devin was dressed in his Boy Scout uniform - that is after Mom sewed on all his patches.

He looked so handsome.  Luckily Mamaw was able to come down to our house and watch Tate.  He had been under the weather for most of the previous week.  We thought it was best for him to not sit outside for 2 hours while we tried to sell popcorn.

Our first time slot was at Sunrise MiniMart.  Devin put on his salesman hat and sold a ton of popcorn.  He had a great spiel down!  We was so polite asking everyone if they would like to buy some popcorn or make a donation.  Then once he got them to agree he would go through every product on the table.

The following afternoon we sold popcorn at the Pilot truck stop.  Again, Devin did very well.  We "pounced" on everyone who came in his general direction.  Dad and Tate stopped by to see Devin in action!  Very proud of my Boy Scout and how hard he worked to sell his popcorn.
