Hi Ho Hi Ho, it's off to pick blueberries we go!

We were up early to get to the U-pick blueberry patch. Grandma Wolsing made the trip from Illinois to join us picking. We stopped for a quick breakfast and made it to the patch a little after 7. We were expecting to have to wait because they weren't supposed to open until 7:30, but to our surprise they were open and we started picking right away.

We were glad to get to the bushes and start picking to avoid the heat. Devin working on filling his bucket up.

Tate finding some hidden blueberries.

There are so many big blueberries hanging off the bushes they almost look like clusters of grapes.
Such a wonderful bounty.

Our post blueberry picking selfie.

Look at all those blueberries we picked. We managed to pick over 30 pounds of blueberries in about an hour and a half.

We had a lot of fun. We listened to some music while we picked and we're glad we finished when we did. It was starting to get quite hot. Thankfully we packed some ice water in the car to help cool us all off.

On our way home, we delivered some blueberries to Mamaw and Papaw's house. Papaw is still recovering from his surgery, but doing well.
