Thanks to our wonderful husband's Lisa and I got a girl's night our in Louisville. They had a chance for some tickets to see Kenny Chesney at Papa John Stadium in Louisville. Nothing like spur of the moment plans. We found out about the tickets late Friday evening, made plans and were off by noon on Saturday. We headed to Louisville Saturday afternoon. Thought we would grab some early dinner and then head to the concert.
For dinner, we decided to try the Troll Under the Bridge. We were able to get in fairly quickly. We ended up splitting two of their famous entree's. We split a huge cheeseburger on a pretzel bun and some spicy troll Alfredo. They were both delicious and glad we decided to share! After eating, we made our way to the stadium.
Up first, Sam Hunt. He is a HUGE favorite of mine! I was so excited to see him in concert. In the middle of Sam performing, it started to sprinkle and then that sprinkle turned into more of a steady rain. It was a little more than we thought we could tolerate, so I headed back to the car to grab the ponchos.
We ended up having to sit in our ponchos for a little while. Luckily the rain cleared and we were able to come out from under our ponchos.
Up next, Miranda Lambert! Glad the rain finally decided to clear.
Kenny Chesney was up next. He always puts on an amazing show.
He definitely didn't disappoint. Lisa and I had a great time! Thanks again to our husbands for a fantastic evening!
