St. Louis Gateway Arch

Well we made it safely back to St Louis.  Grandma & Grandpa Wolsing surprised us at the airport!  We had decided to spend a couple of days together in St Louis seeing some of the famous sites.  We figured it was time to take Devin & Tate to the Arch.  They had no idea what to expect.

Cheese!  We made our way inside and were able to head straight up. 

Yup here we are all crammed into the special elevator for our trip to the top.  It is very tight quarters inside, and were glad we all knew each other.  The boys thought it was fun when the elevator tipped back and forth.

630 feet in the air.  Built as a memorial to our countries movement west.  In 2015, the arch will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary.
