Super Tate's 4th Birthday

Tate picked his theme for his birthday party and this years theme: Captain America.  Here's the Captain American Jello I made with some help from Devin.  Needless to say these took a lot of patience, but they turned out so well!  They were a huge hit with all the kids!

Tate asked that his cake have Captain America's shield on the whole top.  Tate loved the cake and said that it was exactly what he wanted.
I also ordered some Captain America shield cookies.  I thought these turned out awesome.  They looked so realistic.  They were a big hit at the party.

Captain America was over seeing all the party details.

Hand dipped chocolate covered pretzel sticks - covered in red & blue sprinkles.

Captain America Tate, aka the birthday boy, prior to his party starting.

He had been asking all day when all the people would arrive to his party.

I love his range of emotion.  He is such a goofy kid.  I love all of his craziness!!
He goes from goody, to posing, to the perfect smile, to fed up all within a few snaps of the camera.

This photo took a little convincing, but we got a great one.

It doesn't get much sweeter than this.  Love watching the boys grow and change, but it can be so bitter sweet.
Bring on the super hero masks and capes.

Giving me their best super hero pose.  (not sure about Tate's pose)

Such a bright smile and sparkling eyes.

If you ask Tate what his favorite part of his party was, it would be when everyone sang Happy Birthday to him.  I definitely think he likes to be the center of attention.  He made his wishes and blew out his candles.

After cake and homemade ice cream it was time for presents.  Dad surprised him with the new Dusty Crophopper from the new Planes movie.

By the look on his face, I'm pretty sure it was the perfect gift!!
