We began the morning with a trip to the Animal Kingdom. Our first stop in the park was the Safari. We all all types of wildlife - hippos, rhinos, giraffes, birds, elephants, and more. Our safari was first thing in the morning so most of the animals were being active.
After riding a few rides in the Dinoland section of the park, it was off for lunch at the Tusker House with some famous friends. Our first stop was to visit with Donal Duck. As you can see by the picture Tate was "alittle" unsure about being that close to Donald. Hopefully he warms up to them. Devin also met with Daisy, Goofy, and the main mouse, Mickey!
After lunch it was off to see Finding Nemo. It is an amazing show and one of our all time favorites. Both Devin and Tate really enjoyed the show. Tate even caught a nap.
After Nemo it was off to the Festival of the Lion King. It is another really awesome performance. It includes everything from singing and dancing to acrobatics and fire twirling.
After the Lion King it was time to pick a spot to watch the parade at the Animal Kingdom. This was a first for all of us. I am so glad we decided to stay, because the parade was very well down. The animal costumes were something else. Tate was mortified the entire parade. He spent the whole parade literally clinging to my leg, he is still not sure about all of the characters.
After the parade we came back to our room to rest for a little bit. Then we were off to the Magic Kingdom for dinner at the Crystal Palace. We had a chance to meet Pooh and his friends. Then after dinner we took Devin to ride some rides. It was his first time to ride both Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain. We really enjoyed both!
