Not that every Mother's Day isn't special, but this Mother's Day brings about some big changes to our family. As most of you probably know by now, Greg and I our expecting our 2nd child in August. Thought Mother's Day would be a good time to share these with everyone.
If you look closely underneath the word foot, you can see a tiny foot print. I will have to say that these ultrasound pictures are not the greatest, because of where and how the baby was laying. It was really low in my uterus and was face down so the pictures were not easy for the ultrasound tech to capture.
Here is a picture of the baby's face - It looks like a typical skull, you can see the eye sockets, and facial bones.
This is the best profile picture. You can see nose, lips, and chin fairly easy.
Here we have one of the baby's arms. You can see the hand in a fist and then the arm bones behind it.
Due to the baby's location, they couldn't have determined the sex even if we had wanted. We did think about finding out, but when the baby isn't cooperating, there isn't much you can do. SO again, we will look forward to being surprised during delivery!
Still in the VERY early stages of considering names. For those of you who know Greg well, he isn't in any real hurry to decide. Greg still thinks we have plenty of time (I guess 12 weeks is a long time :) ).
So far this pregnancy has gone very smoothly. I was blessed again, to not have any morning sickness during the first trimester. I am now beginning the first week into my 3rd trimester and my how time flys. Starting to get things ready around the house for this baby's arrival. Devin now sleeps in his big boy bed, we are well on our way to being potty trained, and look forward to this new addition to our family.
congratulations guys! so happy for you all! -sandy
