Making Our Way to Mackinac Island

We were up early and on the road headed toward Michigan.  It wasn't too long before we spotted this sign!!  The boys were excited to be in Michigan, even though we had a few more hours on the road.

We did find a fun road side stop.  It was a mix of winery & farm stand, but they had a huge bounce bubble.  It was a great stop to burn off some energy.  Tate was sliding down the "bubble".

Mom even got in on the bouncing action.  It was a lot of fun!
Bouncing out some energy!

They stopped bouncing for a minute so I could get their picture.  You can see how big the bouncy bubble is!

Well we finally made it to our final destination, well atleast the final destination for our car.  Where we were headed no cars were allowed.  We took the Star Line ferry from St Ignace Michigan.  That is just right across the Mackinac Bridge on the Upper Peninsula.
Waiting for the boat to arrive to take us to Mackinac Island.

This is the boat we boarded for the island.

Waiting to leave the dock.

We picked the fast boats.  They were easy to spot because they had huge water tails behind them.

The Grand Hotel from the boat ride over.

Our hotel from the street.  It was right on the water.

Our room at the Chippewa Hotel.  Our room was really nice and close to the "hot" pool.

The huge hot tub, which our kids used like a swimming pool.

Tate enjoying the pool.  Thankfully it was heated, because otherwise it would have been way too cool for us to swim in.

Devin swimming in the pool.
