City Museum

After leaving the Arch, we headed to The City Museum.  Not really sure I would call it a museum, but none the less, amazing. This bus is perched out over the roof of the building, about 13 stories above the ground.

My kids obviously have no fear.  Sitting in the drivers seat opening and closing the passenger door.

Tate loved pretending to be the bus driver.  He has one very big imagination!

Next they moved on to the stepping stones.  It was hot and humid, so the little bit of water spraying in the pond felt really good.  This pond was also up on the roof top.  Tate and I also took our turn on the stepping stones.  Grandma & Tate went back for a second turn while Devin & I were climbing high.  Tate caught his toe on one of the stepping stones and face planted into the water.  :)

After our long climb to the very top, then we took a very long slide back down!

The entire museum has taken ordinary objects and turned them into structures that can be climbed on, etc.

Enjoying a ride around on the "top" chair.

Tate was having so much fun!  He even stopped a minute to flash a smile!

This is just inside the main lobby.  You can see all the time that has been put in.

Tate inside the huge ball pit!

This airplane is perched high above.  You can see the crawling tunnels they have built going into and out of the airplane.  Remember how I said my kids were fearless?  I meant it!

We finally managed to find our way to the airplane.

Walking out on the wing towards the body and cockpit of the plane.

Future pilot?

He loved every minute of the City Museum.  Completely fearless.  Seems he didn't get Dad's fear of heights.

Driving his firetruck.

Oh no the dragon is eating Tate, nope just the opening to one of the many slides we slid down at the museum.
