Celebrating 2

Well Devin celebrated his 2nd Birthday on Saturday. It was an easy party to plan because of Devin's love of Curious George. So this birthday party was all things monkey.

This is one of the cakes I made with my Mom's help for Devin's birthday party. Monkey of course.

This is the other cake I made. The hat is actually cake. It was a chocolate cake that I baked using the Wilton Barbie dress pan. I then carved out the notch to make it look more like a hat. I then covered it with fondant icing I colored yellow. It turned out really cool and was actually very easy to do.

Attempting to blow out the 2 candles on the cake. As you can see it took some help from both Mom and Dad to get that accomplished.
