Leaving the Hospital

So this morning Devin had to go to the surgery center to have several test run under general anesthesia. Needless to say he was still feeling the effects of the medicine when we went to leave. He was very concerned about his flip-flops, but didn't want to wear them. He also wouldn't let me carry him out, he insisted on walking but was drunken to say the least.

This is just before leaving to get in the truck. Carrying his best monkey friend George and a cup full of goldfish crackers. Neither of which he would part with.

Thank goodness he recovered quickly and never even knew anything had happened. He was a real trooper!
